I am also Level 3 Safeguarding trained and have a current DBS certificate (Disclosure and Barring Service) which replaced the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA). I am also fully insured.
Other training includes the following:

I am currently training for the Advanced Specialist Diploma in Clinical Supervision (Accredited).
My specialisms are working with the bereaved and with children and young people. I have over twenty years of experience working with children, young people and adults in a variety of settings. Using interpersonal skills and a person-centred approach, I cover many areas of theoretical practice. I am a MENTAL HEALTH CHAMPION FOR SCHOOLS
As a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I have the highest possible standards of professional practice and confidentiality is protected at all times. I am bound by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the BACP Professional Conduct Procedure.
Anything we discuss during our sessions remains between us. I will not disclose any information to third parties without your consent. I have supervision where some of the content of sessions with my clients is discussed but your identity will never be revealed. My supervisor is also bound by confidentiality.
If I feel that you are risk of harming yourself or others, I might feel unable to hold the confidentiality. If that should happen I would inform you of any course of action and discuss it with you before I carried it out.
